Temple Israel of Hollywood Expansion

Gruen Associates prepared alternative master plan/feasibility study scenarios for the expansion of the campus facilities currently located on approximately 80,000 SF of property bounded by Hollywood Boulevard to the north, Martel Avenue to the west, Fuller Avenue to the east and residential properties to the south, within the City of Los Angeles.
Gruen Associates’ work included programming for the expansion, which consisted of educational facilities, administrative spaces, a chapel, library, parking and other support spaces. The master plan study included exploring alternatives, which include land acquisition, building on currently owned land and various scenarios of temporary relocations in order to accomplish the reconstruction.
